MELVIN A. SPRINGER, 92
Melvin A. Springer, 92, died Tuesday, November 12, 2002 at Ossian Health & Rehab. A native of Allen County, he worked in receiving for International Harvester for 35 years and retired in 1971. He was a member of Emmaus Lutheran Church and Union Local 57. He was a WWII Army Veteran. He is preceded in death by his wife Alvena L. Springer who passed away April 1, 2002.
He is survived by son Stephen R. Springer, Syracuse, Indiana; brothers Arnold W. Springer, Fort Wayne; Homer Springer, Fort Wayne; 2 Grandchildren, and 1 Great Grandchild.
Graveside Chapel Services were held Thursday, November 14, 2002 at Covington Memorial Gardens with burial in Covington Memorial Gardens. Memorials to Emmaus Lutheran Church. Information furnished by Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals.
