MATTHEW D. MCGUIGAN, 89

Matthew D. McGuigan, 89, died Saturday, October 26, 2002 at Riverbend Health Care Center. A native of Muncie, Indiana, he was a toolmaker at General Electric and at International Harvester. He was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by a grandchild.

He is survived by wife Betty McGuigan, Fort Wayne; daughters Patsy L. Smith, Las Vegas, Nevada; Jeannine Wildey, Fort Wayne; Antonette Toni Poppy, Ashville, North Carolina; Kyle Ann Dever, Fort Wayne; sons David P. McGuigan, Denver, Colorado; Matthew J. McGuigan, New Haven, Indiana; Kevin L. McGuigan, Fort Wayne; Michael C. McGuigan, Indianapolis; 26 Grandchildren, 22 Great Grandchildren, and 4 Great Great Grandchildren. Services were held Wednesday, October 30, 2002 at St. Therese Catholic Church with burial in Highland Park Cemetery. Memorials to Cancer Services of Allen County and Heartland Hospice.
