SUZANNE V. FORTNEY, 57
Suzanne V. Fortney, 57, died Monday, February 11 at her Fort Wayne residence. A native of Fort Wayne, she was in data entry and clerical work at Lincoln Life Insurance for 30+ years and had worked in the family business earlier in life at Kree’s Rink in Fort Wayne. She was a member of Sewing Guild. She liked sewing and spending time with her grandchildren. She was a devoted grandmother and will be missed by her six grandchildren which includes two sets of twins.
She is survived by son Matthew D. Fortney, Fort Wayne; daughter Sara K. Crowell, Fort Wayne; sisters Patricia Diehm, Fort Wayne; Kathleen Lee, Fort Wayne; Glenna Hissong, Harlan, Indiana; and 6 grandchildren.
Services were held Saturday, February 16 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals with burial in Oak Lawn Cemetery, Ossian, Indiana.
