Carrie E. Kimmel (Zion), 92, died Sunday, February 10 at Community Hospital – North Indianapolis, Indiana. A native of Markle, Indiana and a former resident of Anderson and Fort Wayne, she was a member of East Lynn Christian Church in Anderson. She attended Fortville Christian Church while residing in Fortville, Indiana. She was a homemaker. She is preceded in death by her husband Forrest Kimmel. She was the daughter of Jason C. Zion and Elsie Dora Reddin both now deceased.

She is survived by daughters Darlene L. Seals, Fortville; Doreta Terry, Indianapolis; son Doyle Kimmel, Poughkepsie, New York; 7 grandchildren; and 8 Great grandchildren.

Services were held Thursday, February 14 at Ronald L. Seals Funeral Home in Fortville, Indiana with Reverend Pat Mooney officiating. Burial was in Anderson Memorial Park, Anderson, Indiana. Memorials to Fortville Christian Church or East Lynn Christian Church.
