WAYNE HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE COMPLETES MARINE CORPS ENGINEERING COURSE
Marine Corps Pfc. Corey B. Trosper, grandson of Howard and Imogene Trosper of 2718 Lower Huntington Road recently graduated from the Marine Corps Basic Combat Engineer Course at Marine Corps Base, Camp Lejeune, North Carolina.
During the five-week course, Trosper received instruction in the fundamentals of engineering support for combat units, including the procedures for building and repairing bridges, roads, and field fortifications. Trosper also received training on demolition concepts, land mine warfare, and camouflage techniques. Trosper will accompany Marine infantry forces to build roads, set up camps and fortify living areas. Trosper is a 2001 graduate of Wayne High School and joined the Marine Corps in November 2001.
