FEATURED ARTIST FOR THE MONTH OF JUNE IS: GEORGE BEALS
George Beals was a self-taught artist and a member of the Fort Wayne Artist Guild and the Hossier Salon. His wife, Doris, has been a supporting member of the Fort Wayne Art Source since it began in 1993. George worked primarily in acrylics; however, the Art Source has several of his watercolors and pastels on display. We quote George, “All my life, I have had an interest in reproducing the beauties of God’s creation. Someone has said, “All nature is too thin a veil to hide the Glory of God. One of my purposes in painting is to express how I view that beauty. I count it a real privilege to be able to paint scenes that people enjoy and with which they can identify.”
George Beals said it for ALL of US that are true ARTISTS! George passed away several years ago, but our memories of our artist friend are dear to our hearts. You are invited to enjoy the display of his very special paintings at the Fort Wayne Art Source.
