KAMPFIRE KOOKIN’
EASY BOY SCOUT TUNA CASSEROLE (UGH? or WOWZERS?)
1 can tuna fish packed in water (drained)
1 can concentrated mushroom soup
1/2 soup can water
1/2 soup can milk
1 (6-oz.) bag of regular potato chips
Shredded cheddar cheese
Mix mushroom soup with water and milk. Break the tuna pieces apart and mix into the soup. Heat. Crunch the bag of potato chips and stir into this mixture. Remove from heat and let set for a few minutes. Garnish with shredded cheese. Eat as a soup, a casserole, or serve over biscuits, bread, cooked rice, stuffing, or mashed potatoes. Should serve 4 adults or 1 hungry Boy Scout.
HINT: Double or triple the recipe per amount of people served. Throw in a handful of thawed green peas to complement the casserole and add a little color. Substitute canned chicken for the canned tuna for a different taste.
