REWARD FOR HIT & RUN ACCIDENT
Friday, February 27, 2004 at 1am in the morning, Candace Elam was struck and injured by a two-toned van. Candice had finished her second shift job and was walking her dog, Malachi, a black Labrador, which also suffered injuries. The accident happened at the 7800 block of Amherst Drive. The van was a teal or green on top and silver on the bottom. It was driven by a 40-50 year old male, with a receding hairline. He was 5’10” to 5’11” tall with no facial hair.
Candice was taken to Lutheran ER and is now recovering with injuries to her right forearm left ankle and right knee. Her dog, Malachi suffered a broken jaw and hip, and was rushed to E. Animal Clinic where he underwent surgery.
