DOROTHY OGNENOFF, 80
DOROTHY OGNENOFF, 80, of Fort Wayne, died Thursday, October 14, 2004, at Lutheran Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born July 22, 1924, in Fort Wayne, she had worked at General Electric, retiring in 1985. She was a member of G.E. Quarter Century Club and St. Nicholas Orthodox Church. She enjoyed square dancing. “You could travel the world and not meet a person with a bigger heart than Dorothy. She was a wonderful, wonderful sister and is now in the hands of our Lord.” Surviving are: brother, George Ognenoff of Fort Wayne; sister-in-law, Stella Ognenoff of Fort Wayne; and nieces, Maria Field of Porter and Christina Ognenoff of Fort Wayne.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Naume and Maria (Gugos) Ognenoff; and brother, John Ognenoff.
Graveside service was Monday, October 18, at Lindenwood Cemetery, Fort Wayne, with Pastor Vernon Graham officiating.
