BERTHA W. TRIM, 93, of Fort Wayne, died Friday October 8, 2004, at Life Care Center of Fort Wayne. The Decatur native was a longtime Fort Wayne resident, member of Community of Christ Church and volunteer at Foellinger-Friemann Botanical Conservatory, Senior Center, Aid to The Blind and West Central Neighborhood Association. She was formerly employed at Wayne Knitting Mills and then retired from Fort Wayne Community Schools in 1974.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Virgil A. Trim in 1994.
Survivors include her nephew, W. Eugene Dean of Largo, Florida; and several great nieces and nephews.
Service was Monday, October 11 at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Wayne Street Chapel, 420 W. Wayne St. Burial at Lindenwood Cemetery.
Preferred memorials to Sunshine Home Healthcare or Heartland Hospice.
