BARBARA “SALLY” TYLER WILLIAMS, 72
BARBARA “SALLY” TYLER WILLIAMS, 72, died Saturday, November 13, 2004, at St. Joseph Hospital. The Rochester, Minnesota native, was a member of First Presbyterian Church and served on the Board of Directors of Peabody Retirement Community. She had retired as a registered nurse, having served at Park Center, Brooklyn Medical Associates and the Multiple Sclerosis Association. She was instrumental in assisting with the founding of Three Rivers Health Clinic and Planned Parenthood of Fort Wayne.
Survivors include her husband, Donald J. Williams; daughters, Beth (Mike) Johnson of Indianapolis and Nancy (Bouba) Hamadou of Tucson, Arizona; son Daniel T. (Beth) Williams of Laguna Hills, California; seven grandchildren; and her sister, Judy (Tony) Bradley of Lenexa, Kansas.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Bill Tyler and Pat Tyler.
Memorial service was Thursday, November 18, at First Presbyterian Church, 300 W. Wayne Street. The family received friends immediately following services at a reception in McKay Hall. Arrangements by Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road.
The preferred memorial is First Presbyterian Church.
