THELMA BLOSE HARKENRIDER, 75
THELMA BLOSE HARKENRIDER, 75, of Fort Wayne, died Sunday, December 26, 2004. The Richmond native retired from the accounting offices at GTE in 1991, after 32 years with the company. She was a member of Roanoke Seminary United Methodist Church, Roanoke American Legion, Post #160 Auxiliary and was a longtime member of the GTE Telephone Pioneers.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Harkenrider.
Survivors include her sons, Michael D. (Connie) Blose of Lawton, Oklahoma, Patrick A. (Peggy) Blose of Fort Wayne, Mark A. Blose of Yoder, grandchildren, Annette Blose of Indianapolis, Catherine Blose of Baltimore, Maryland, Jonathon Blose of Lawton, Oklahoma, Matthew Blose of Lawton, Oklahoma, David Blose of Fort Wayne, and Nicki Bartlett of Indianapolis.
Celebration of life service 2:30pm, Sunday, January 9, 2005 at Roanoke Seminary United Methodist Church, 194 W. Second Street, Roanoke, IN 46783. The family will receive friends at a reception in the church fellowship hall immediately following the services.
The preferred memorials are the church or Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, 5910 Homestead Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46804.
