MILLARD DUANE BLAKE, 65
MILLARD DUANE BLAKE, 65, of Fort Wayne, died Friday, December 17, 2004, at Rochester Methodist Hospital, Rochester, Minnesota. Born August 5, 1939, in Rockford, Illinois, he was a 1st Sgt. with the Indiana Air National Guard, retiring in 1998. He was a member of Avalon Missionary Church, 1500 Lower Huntington Road, and was very involved with Boy Scouts of America.
Surviving are his wife, Sherry L. Elliott Blake of Fort Wayne; three daughters, Deanna Blake of Fort Wayne, Shelly (Rick) Rentfrow of Martinez, Georgia and Tiffany Taylor of Fort Wayne; two sons, Curtis (Linda) Blake and Jerrod (Beth) Blake, both of Fort Wayne; two sisters, Kay (Dick) Herr of Lakewood, Colorado and Bev (Ron) Garkey of Flippin, Arkansas; one brother, Lynn (Sharon) Blake of Mt. Morris, Illinois; and nine grandchildren, David and Danny Moyer, Corrissa Bay, Brandon Bennett, Monica and Sonjia Blake, Colin Taylor, Emily and Carson Blake.
He was preceded in death by brother, Michael Blake.
Funeral service was Wednesday at Avalon Missionary Church, 1500 Lower Huntington Road. Calling was Tuesday, December 21, at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
