JOHN J. TESCULA JR., 76, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, February 28, 2005, at V.A. Medical Center, Fort Wayne. Born January 26, 1929, in Fort Wayne, he was a son of the late John Tescula Sr. and Lodavica Dann. He was a service man for NIPSCO for 37 years, retiring in 1985. He served in the Army. He was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church and American Legion Post 296.
Surviving are son, John K. (Terry) Tescula of Fort Wayne; daughter, Anitra (Jim) Patterson of Grapevine, Texas; three grandchildren, Byran and Carolyn Patterson of Grapevine, Texas and Matthew John Tescula of Fort Wayne; and three sisters, Rebecca Lazar of Florida, Helen Schortgen and Violet Derloshan, both of Fort Wayne.
He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Earl and Remus Tescula.
Mass of Christian Burial was Friday, March 4 at St. Therese Catholic Church, with the Rev. Joseph Rulli presiding. Visitation was Thursday, March 3, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, 6424 Winchester Road, with Vigil service at 8:30 p.m. Burial at Catholic Cemetery. Memorials to St. Therese Catholic Church Building Fund.
