KATHERINE ELIZABETH (JAUQUET) FLAHERTY, 81, of Fort Wayne, died Monday, May 9, 2005, at Marquette Manor Health Care Center, Indianapolis. Born November 25, 1923, in Green Bay, Wisconsin, she was the daughter of the late Clement and Josephine (Ferry) Jauquet. She was a member of the Fort Wayne Medical Auxiliary, Marquette University Alumni Association and St. Jude Catholic Church.
Survivors include daughters, Anne Flaherty of Ruidoso, New Mexico, Mary Flaherty of Dallas, Texas and Patricia Johnson of Louisville, Kentucky; sons, Michael Flaherty of Fort Wayne, James Flaherty and John Flaherty, both of Indianapolis; and six grandchildren; sisters, Geraldine Bushman of Milwaukee, Wisconsin and Marian Finger of Baraboo, Wisconsin; and brothers, Joseph Jauquet of Ashland, Wisconsin, Herbert Jauquet of Channing, Michigan, Clement Jauquet of Iron Mountain, Michigan and James Jauquet of Sagola, Michigan.
Service was Tuesday, May 17 at St. Jude Catholic Church, with calling one hour prior. Fr. Robert D’Souza officiating. Burial at Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements by Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Homes.
