WILMA M. GERKE, 80
WILMA M. GERKE, 80, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, June 7, 2005, at Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home. Born June 14, 1924, in Montgomery County, Ohio, she was employed by Concordia Seminary, as the Book Store Manager, for 10 years, retiring in 1972. She was a member of Southwest Lutheran Church and was a volunteer at Cancer Services of Allen County.
Survived by her husband, LeRoy Gerke of Fort Wayne; son, Jim Gerke of Nipimo, California; daughters, Barbara Ray of Speedway and Debi Treleaven of Fort Wayne; one brother; two sisters; two granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and five brothers and sisters.
Service was Saturday, June 11, at Aboite Lutheran Church. Calling was Friday, June 10, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road.
