SMOKE ON THE WIND
I was having coffee, looking at the morning paper, and I saw where there was a school shooting in Campbell County, TN.‑I have four grandchildren who go to that school.‑Three teachers were shot; one of them was killed.‑He was my grandson’s godfather.‑The newspaper that morning did not contain anything that filled my heart and spirit with joy or put a smile on my face.
I went to the bedroom to get a handkerchief from the dresser to wipe the tears.‑Sitting on the bed, I closed my eyes and said, “Oh My God!”‑I prayed and asked Him to send His healing angels to comfort us all and restore our balance and harmony.‑I felt as though He had His hand on my shoulder as He whispered, “Trust in me with all your heart, and do not rely on your own insight.‑In all your ways, acknowledge Me and I will make straight your path.”
As I wiped the tears from my eyes, I opened them to a beautiful sunset picture hanging there on the wall.‑I felt the Way Shower there by‑my side.‑We gazed‑at the sunset together, and then He asked me, “My‑son, do you know what comes after the sunset?”‑I quickly answered, “Well, the sunrise, of course.”‑”By God, you’ve got it!‑Peace be with you.‑My peace I give you.‑Each and every one of you.”
Remember these three things:‑ Knock and the door will open.‑Ask and you will receive.‑And, everyone, please have faith.
