OFELIA M. MOORE, 77

OFELIA M. MOORE, 77, of Fort Wayne, entered into Heaven Friday, September 22, 2006, to join her loving husband, Ron. Born July 18, 1929 in Monterrey, N.L. (Mexico), she was a faithful parishioner of St. Joseph Catholic Church for over 50 years; she was a caring & loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, whose strength and zest for life was, and will continue to be, an inspiration to her family. She had a passion for cooking and spent many years preparing meals at the St. Joseph Rectory.
She is survived by her daughters, Marsha M. (Mike) Magers, Mimi M. (James) Snyder, Michelle M. (Neal) Loraine, Melinda M. (Mike) Himmelein and Marilyn M. Romine; sons, Mark W. (Susie) Moore and Matthew W. (Cheryl) Moore; sixteen grandchildren and five great-grandchildren, all of whom reside in Fort Wayne; brothers, Bernardo Flores and Leon Flores; sister, Dora Muraira, all of whom reside in Monterrey, N.L. (Mexico).
She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Ronald Wayne Moore, and her parents, Bernardo and Maria Ofelia Flores.
Mass of Christian Resurrection was Tuesday in St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2213 Brooklyn Ave. with calling one hour prior to Mass. Calling was also Monday 2-4 & 6-8pm at Covington Memorial Funeral Home, 8408 Covington Road, with a Vigil Service at 7:30pm. Entombment in Covington Memorial Gardens.
