KATHERINE ELIZABETH BATES KELLERMAN, 93
KATHERINE ELIZABETH BATES KELLERMAN, 93, of Fort Wayne, died Tuesday, April 3, 2007, at Parkview Hospital, Fort Wayne. Born February 18, 1914, in Goshen, she was a homemaker and Co-owner/Operator of Kellerman Printing. She was active with the Girl Scouts and the Y.W.C.A. and a member of Waynedale United Methodist Church. She enjoyed sewing, traveling, gardening, needlework, painting and cooking. However, spending time with her family was her favorite thing to do.
Surviving are her daughter, Carol Buttell of Fort Wayne; granddaughters, Linda (John) Walls and Nancy (Blane) Bade, both of Fort Wayne; and great-grandchildren, Amanda, Nicholas and Sarah Bade.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Andrew J. Kellerman Jr., in 1995; daughter and son-in-law, Sandra (Dr. Jack) Wirth; granddaughter, Jennifer Wirth; six sisters; seven brothers; and parents, George and Sadie Bowman Bates.
Funeral service was Saturday, April 7, 2007 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Visitation was Friday, April 6, 2007 at the funeral home.
Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Fort Wayne.
