NORTHERN INDIANA PASSENGER RAIL ASSOCIATION RECEIVES SPECIAL RECOGNITION
The Northern Indiana Passenger Rail Association (NIPRA) received special recognition by being named the “Sustainable Champion of the Year” by the Hoosier Environmental Council (HEC), the largest environmental policy organization in Indiana.
The award was presented by Tim Maloney, HEC Senior Policy Director, at the HEC’s 2018 Greening The Statehouse Forum, held on November 17 at the Honeywell Center in Wabash, Indiana. The award was received by Richard Juram, NIPRA President, and Pam Holocher, NIPRA Vice-President.
The award was presented in recognition of NIPRA’s commitment to returning sustainable passenger rail transportation to northern Indiana and the ongoing improvement of both the environment and the economy.
