Elizabeth “Betty” Jane (Reinoehl) King, 101
Elizabeth “Betty” Jane (Reinoehl) King, 101, passed away on Sunday, November 25, 2018. She was born June 20, 1917 in Galion, Ohio, but lived most of her life in Fort Wayne. She graduated Northside High School and attended Wittenberg College, Springfield, Ohio. She and her husband, Robert “Bob” were avid golfers, members of Orchard Ridge Country Club, and spent many winters in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. She also enjoyed sewing and needle work. She is survived by her children, Carolyn Botts and Robert (Melody) King, Jr., both of Fort Wayne; grandchildren, Jason Botts of Fort Wayne, Erik (Julia) Botts of Indianapolis, and Christopher King of Chicago; and great grandchildren, Lauren, Lainey, and Keegan Botts, all of Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1994. There will be no services. Contributions in Betty’s memory may be made to Waynedale United Methodist Church Foundation or Heartland Hospice.
