ROBERT J. SULLIVAN, 90
ROBERT J. SULLIVAN, 90, of Fort Wayne, passed away Thursday, January 10, 2008 at Lutheran Hospital. He retired from May Sand & Gravel Company after 42 years of service. He was then employed by Klink Trucking and Landscaping for over 20 years, retiring in 2004.
He enjoyed automobile racing as a spectator, and recently, as a resident of the Lutheran Homes, he could be seen racing in his red scooter throughout the buildings. He was a member of Mount Calvary Lutheran Church.
Surviving are his wife of nearly 70 years, Alline C. Sullivan; sisters, Mary Jane Oakes and Dottie Carpenter, both of Fort Wayne; daughter-in-law, Judith Sullivan of Fort Wayne; son-in-law, Vernon Ratcliff, of Fort Wayne; granddaughters, Vikki Ratcliff and Amy (Todd) Stillwell, both of Fort Wayne, Nicole (Bao) Haba; and great grandchildren, Ashley and Evan Haba of Newark, California.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Jessie Sullivan; and children, Ann Marie Ratcliff and Robert V. Sullivan.
Service was Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 1819 Reservation Drive, Fort Wayne, with calling one hour prior. Calling was Tuesday, January 15, 2008 at Lutheran Homes, 6701 South Anthony Blvd., Fort Wayne. Entombment in Concordia Cemetery Gardens, 5300 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne.
