PATRICIA FRANCES JANE FAGER, 74

PATRICIA FRANCES JANE FAGER, 74, of Fort Wayne, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, January 13, 2008, at Lutheran Hospital. Born January 5, 1934, in Bryan, Ohio, she retired from Lutheran Hospital Medical Records after 12 years of service. She completed school at Ohio State School for the Blind, Columbus, Ohio; was a graduate of Pilot Dogs Inc. and Toledo Secretarial School. She was a long standing member of Waynedale Baptist Church; American Council of the Blind Lakota Chapter; and Waynedale Lions Club. She played organ and piano.

Her gift of edification and her smile and love brought joy and happiness to all that knew her.

Surviving are her sister, Donna Roberts of California; aunt, Betty French of Fort Wayne; two nieces; four nephews; and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Cordill Corky Fager on June 9, 2006; sister, Shirley Shambaugh; and brother, Verl Thorpe Jr.

Funeral service was Thursday, January 17, 2008 at Waynedale Baptist Church, 633 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation was Wednesday, January 16, 2008 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens, Fort Wayne.
