ALL THESE CANONIZED SAINTS
On November 4, many Catholic schools from the diocese, Fort Wayne/South Bend, gathered together at the Coliseum to participate in a Catholic mass. Fourth grade students from these schools, who were dressed as different saints were seated on the floor.
Priests celebrated the mass with Bishop John D’Arcy who spoke about all these canonized saints and the newly named saint, St. Damien. St. Damien helped many lepers by starting a leper colony in Hawaii. He lived a holy life of devotion to God.
The Fourth graders from St. Therese Catholic School did a wonderful job with their costumes and it was a magnificent mass. We really enjoyed it and were happy to attend.
