According to a preliminary study of casual marijuana users, there were differences in the two brain areas associated with emotions and motivation, from non-users. Of course the differences were more pronounced in heavier users.  But why am I telling you this? I’m sure you already knew that anyone who uses marijuana … is going to pot.

Only in America…could the people who believe in balancing the budget and sticking by the country’s Constitution, be thought of as “extremists.”

A Health Care Plan That Would Work
I definitely believe that our Health Care System needs to be overhauled. There are just too many people who cannot afford health insurance. In addition, even for the insured, there is a possibility that a major illness, or disease, could force millions of hard working American families into bankruptcy.

Rather than Congress trying to shove a two thousand, page health care bill down our throats that in all probability, not a damn one of them read, know what it’s going to cost, or how to pay for it, wouldn’t it be better if they took a few months to study some of the best health care programs in the world that really work? Like the ones in Germany, Japan, and some of the other countries? Then Congress could incorporate the best features of each of these programs and come up with a plan that would truly work, be cost effective and in the best interest of all Americans? At least to me, this makes so much sense, that I’m almost certain our self-serving, dim-witted representatives will never take this approach.
