SHINDLER SEZ… THAT’S ALL FOLKS

For the past six years, my column, “Schindler Sez”, has been featured in several local newspapers. It has truly been an enjoyable experience and hopefully, from time to time, it has put a smile on your face and gave you something to think about.

However, Father Time’s clock keeps on ticking and I now find myself in my eightieth year. So before my time runs out, I have decided to complete my bucket list…before I kick it. For example, I am working on a book of poems, which will be entitled, “The Best Damn Poems You Never Read.” Then I have three more projects I’d like complete.

Hence, with so little time and so much still left in my bucket, it is with great reluctance, that I am announcing that my December 2014 column, will be the last of “Schindler Sez.”

I would like to thank all the newspapers, who have carried my column, for their support. Also, I would like to thank Ron Storey, of the Decatur Daily Democrat, for without his encouragement and belief in me, there would never have been a, “Schindler Sez.”

Finally, I want to thank all of you who have spent your valuable time reading, “Schindler Sez”. You guys are the best. Obviously, at least it’s obvious to me, my readers have great literary taste. So with a fond farewell, I wish you all the best.

God Bless,
Jim Schindler
