POST 241 DONATES $10,000 TO FOOD BANK

In December, Waynedale American Legion Post 241 donated $10,000 to Community Harvest Food Bank. They also gave $1,000 to each of the churches listed: Avalon Missionary Church, Bethany Lutheran Church, Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, St. Therese Catholic Church and Waynedale United Methodist Church. And other charitable contributions support to Veteran’s and Veteran’s Survivors Aid Organization, local charities and aid groups, Honor Flight, scholarships, and Boy’s State. In 2013 they donated $44,916 in total!
