WAYNE HIGH SCHOOL BOYS BOWLING TEAM ADVANCE TO SEMI-STATE
The Wayne High School Boys bowling team advanced to Semi-State Saturday, February 5, 2011. In order to advance they had to finish in the top 5 out of 12 teams from around the region. They came in 5th, which sends them to the next round in Muncie next weekend.
Not only did they advance as a team but Wayne also had two individuals advance also, Casey Nash and Josh Rood. The team consists of all seniors and one sophomore. Two of the bowlers came from Elmhurst.
The girls also had a good season making it past sectionals but came up short for semi-state. The bowlers are from l-r: Justin Brant, Nick Harmeyer, Nick Best, Jordan Owens, Coach Matt Burbrink, Christian Harmeyer, Casey Nash and Josh Rood.
