RICHARD E. PARLOW, 82
Richard E. Parlow, 82 of Fort Wayne passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2011 at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home. Born April 1, 1928 to the late Clarence E. and Jane (Simpson) Parlow in Potsdam, New York. He retired from General Electric after 36 years as an accountant. After retirement, he went to work at Brookwood Golf Course where he had a lifelong membership. Mr. Parlow was a graduate of Tri State University. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, Masonic Lodge, and The Mizpah Shrine. He enjoyed golfing and bowling.
He is survived by his wife Joyce (Buckner) Parlow of Fort Wayne, his children; Cynthia (Jerry) Schoeph of Huntington, Caryl (Fiancée Dan Kreider) Parlow of Columbia City and Diane (Jim) Vorndran of Columbia City, grandchildren; Jessica, Abigail, Kelli and Janie and great grandson; Spencer.
He was preceded in death by his brother James Parlow and sister Mary E. Squires.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 PM, Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Elzey Patterson Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne with calling one hour prior. Visitation was at the funeral home on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 from 3:00 – 7:00 PM. Burial at Prairie Grove Cemetery.
