MAUMEE, MARY & JOSEPH COMEDY FESTIVAL COMING SOON

The third annual Maumee, Mary & Joseph Comedy Festival is only a month away! Join us April 11 – 13 in downtown Fort Wayne for a fun-filled weekend of hilarity featuring the best local, regional and national talent to tickle your funny bone.
There will be FREE family events at the Allen County Public Library on Saturday afternoon that allow kids of all ages to watch, learn and participate onstage. Saturday’s featured family performance will be Comedy Dance Chicago. They combine sketch comedy, physical comedy and dance to tell stories in feel-good and visually hilarious ways. Local improv troupe Broken Pencil Improv will host a workshop for all ages, and the Children’s Comedy Contest will find the funniest kid in Fort Wayne.
Scheduled adult comedy events range from game shows and podcasts to musical comedy and stand-up album recordings. There will even be a Roast of Westeros comedy battle featuring characters from “Game of Thrones.” The festival will culminate Saturday night with the Sticks & Stones Comedy Battle show at O’Reilly’s Irish Bar & Restaurant.
The three-day festival will be held at downtown locations including First Presbyterian Church Theater, Cinema Center, Pint & Slice, History Center and more. This is a great opportunity to check out all the businesses and eateries in downtown Fort Wayne before and after these comedy shows.
