Teddy R. Garber, 67

Teddy R. Garber, 67, of Fort Wayne, passed away Friday, November 2, 2018 at Sage Bluff Health and Rehabilitation. He was born May 29, 1951 in Fort Wayne to the late Ray and Dorothy Garber. Teddy was a graduate of Southside High School. He worked at Patten Electric as a supervisor for 23 years and then at Kroger for 13 years. He was an avid Civil War History enthusiast. He is survived by his sons, John (Jennifer) Garber and Charles Garber, both of Fort Wayne; four grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter, sister, Linda Fremion of Hudson, IN; brother in law, George Monesmith of Fort Wayne; sister in law, June Fordyce of Wollcottville. He was also preceded in death by his sister, Joann Monesmith; and brother, Jim Garber. Memorial service was held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 9, 2018 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809 with visitation one hour prior. Contributions in Teddy’s memory may be made to Allen County S. P. C. A. or Allen County Humane Shelter.
