Joseph Henry Schuhler, 91, of Fort Wayne passed away on Monday, October 15, 2018. He was born on Sunday, November 28, 1926 in Fort Wayne. He served in the United States Army. He worked his entire life as a farmer. He was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church. He is survived by his sister, Betty Filloff; and several nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by his siblings, Helen Schuhler, Mary Di Cola, Henry “Bud” Schuhler, and Dorothy Van Auken. Mass of Christian Burial was held on Friday, October 19, 2018 at 11:30 a.m at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, 14623 Bluffton Road Yoder, Indiana 46798 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation was also Thursday, October 18, 2018 from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road Fort Wayne, Indiana 46809 with a rosary vigil at 5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
