HOAGLAND DAYS COMING JUNE 14, 15 & 16

Every year in the middle of June, Hoagland, Indiana hosts its annual festival “Hoagland Days.” This year, the three-day event starts on Thursday, June 14 and runs through Saturday, June 16. There is a ton of family fun to be had, including a midway with carnival rides, parade, greased pig contest, prince/ princess contest & crowning, silent auction, live auction, children’s games, kiddie tractor pull, petting zoo, cornhole tournament, demolition derby and more.

Under the entertainment tent there are bands, live performances, and presentations throughout the day until 11pm on Thursday and until midnight both Friday and Saturday. And come hungry! As there are plenty of food vendors and dinners including a fish & tenderloin fry, ice-cream by the local Lions Club, and a food court.

The village of Hoagland was established in 1872. Located along the original Wayne Trace in northeast Indiana it is just southeast of Fort Wayne, Indiana and just a hop, skip and a jump east of Highway 27.

The festival serves as a fundraiser for the Hoagland Area Advancement Association (HAAA), who manages the Hoagland Community Park & Center. Funds are being raised to repair the parking lot and to help make improvements to other areas in the park.
