DORIS M. SUMMERS TANCIL, 93
DORIS M. SUMMERS TANCIL, 93, passed away on Monday, January 29, 2018 at Lutheran Life Villages. She was born June 26, 1924, the daughter of the late Jack and Helen (Schleiker) Zolman. Doris was a faithful member of Trinity Lutheran Church for 70 years. She loved traveling, gardening, and spending time with her family.
Surviving are her children, Roger (Margie) Summers of Huntertown, Carol (Geralynn Vonderhaar) Ort of Fort Wayne, Susan (Rick) Tielker of Fort Wayne, Marjie (Dave) Rudny of Hoagland, and Robin (Jeff) Vincelett of San Diego, California; 11 grandchildren, and numerous great and great great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her 1st husband, Bob Summers; 2nd husband, Jack Tancil; brothers, Jim and Tom Zolman.
Funeral service was Friday, February 2, 2018 at 11 AM at Trinity Lutheran Church, 7819 Decatur Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46816 with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also Thursday, February 1, 2018 from 3 to 7 PM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809. Burial in Poe Williamsport Cemetery.
