DELORES M. SCREETON, 94
DELORES M. SCREETON, 94, of Fort Wayne, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2017 at Lutheran Hospital surrounded by her loving family. A lifelong Fort Wayne resident, the daughter of the late Emmett and Loretta (Moushey) Winkler. Delores was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church and employed at Wayne High School Cafeteria with Fort Wayne Community Schools for 23 years.
Grandma Dee Dee loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Surviving are her son, Michael W. (Carol) Screeton of Fort Wayne; daughter, Nancy A. (Dave) Preston of Fort Wayne; sister, Phyllis Senesac of Fort Wayne; brother, Donald Winkler of Fort Wayne; five granddaughters; 22 great grandchildren; five great great grandsons; and special nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Wilbur W. Screeton; infant son, Richard Lee Screeton; and sister, Loretta Lorenz.
Funeral service was Monday, November 20, 2017 at 1 PM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809 with visitation one hour prior.
Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
