TARA L. WALTKE, 60

TARA L. WALTKE, 60, of Fort Wayne passed away on Friday, August 25, 2017. She was born on October 17, 1956, a daughter of Joe and Lois Huber. She worked at Lincoln National Life for 26 years before retiring in 2002.

She was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church and enjoyed spending time with her family.

Surviving family include her husband, Jim Waltke; daughter, Abbey (Jared) Shimel; her parents, Joe and Lois; sisters, Sandy (Jim) Carden, and Karen (Ray) Stuckey; mother-in-law, Patricia Waltke; and nine nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am on Friday, September 1, 2017 at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne with visitation one-hour prior. Visitation will also be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Fort Wayne with a Rosary at 7:30 pm. Burial will be in Catholic Cemetery, Fort Wayne.

Memorials may be made to the church or League for the Blind. Condolences may be left online at www.elzey-patterson-rodakfuneralhome.com.
