CHARLES “KURT” STEWART, 83
CHARLES “KURT” STEWART, 83, of Fort Wayne passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017. He was born on January 21, 1934. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked many years as a supervisor at Wayne Asphalt. He was a member of Waynedale United Methodist Church and SASS.
Surviving family include his wife of 62 years, Bonnie Stewart; their children, Michael (Lori) Stewart, Julie McCarthy, Amy (Rich) Taylor; eight grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren; and a sister, Janie “Mickey” Williams.
He was preceded in passing by his mother, Lucy; and a son, Patrick Stewart.
Memorial service was 11:00 am on Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Waynedale United Methodist Church, 2501 Church Street, Fort Wayne with a gathering of friends and family one-hour prior. Pastor Ted Jansen officiated with Pastor Mike Smith co-officiating.
