WILLIAM “BILL” MUNROE, 81
WILLIAM “BILL” MUNROE, 81, of Fort Wayne passed away on Friday, June 2, 2017. He was born on May 12, 1936 in Syracuse, New York, a son of the late Thomas and Doris (Mead) Munroe. He served in the U.S. Navy. He worked as a salesman and later owned and operated Service Engineering before retiring. He was a member at Waynedale United Methodist Church where he was active with the youth.
Surviving family include his wife, Ruth Munroe; children, Craig (Kim) Munroe, Donna (Jerry) Noble, Diane Munroe, Rick (Rebecca) Munroe; 13 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren; and a sister, Sherry (Ron) Emenecker.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in passing by eight siblings.
Memorial service was held at 11:00 am on Monday, June 5, 2017 at Waynedale United Methodist Church, 2501 Church Street, Fort Wayne with calling one-hour prior. Calling also from 2-5 pm on Sunday, June 4, 2017 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Fort Wayne.
