MARGARET E. STETTLER, 94
MARGARET E. STETTLER, 94, of Fort Wayne, passed away April 15, 2017 at St. Anne Home. She was born February 19, 1923 in Buffalo, NY. She worked as a homemaker and after her family was raised, she had worked as a bookkeeper for Light and Breunig and as a secretary at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church.
She enjoyed many things, including fishing, spending time at the lake and putting puzzles together. She is survived by her children, Karen (Richard – Deceased) Shuler of Fort Wayne, Marilyn (John) O’Rourke of Fort Wayne, Stephen (Sheilah) Stettler of San Leandro, CA, Daniel (Sandra) Stettler of Fort Wayne, and Mark (Brenda) Stettler of Fort Wayne; 21 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; brothers, Eugene Parot of Manchester, NJ and Peter Parot of Indianapolis; and sister in law, Betty Gustin.
She was preceded in death by her father, Michael Parot; mother, Theresa (Scott) Parot – Gustin; husband, Marion F. Stettler in 1993; and siblings, Michael, Edward, Dorothy, Judith, Harvey and Bill.
Mass of Christian Burial was Friday, April 21, 2017 at 11 AM at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46819 with visitation one hour prior.
Burial was in Greenlawn Memorial Park.
