TIMOTHY S. WHITE, 50
TIMOTHY S. WHITE, 50, of Fort Wayne passed away on Monday, September 26, 2016. He was born on March 11, 1966 in Fort Wayne, a son of Alton N. and Carole L. White. He served in the U.S. Air Force and Indiana Air National Guard. He was a volunteer fireman for 34 years with the Southwest Fire District serving many of those as captain and worked for 20 years as a Fort Wayne 911 fire and police dispatcher along with the Indiana State Police. He was a member of Lifewater Community Church where he was recently involved in raising money for a new playground among many other church activities. He was also a member of American Legion Post #241, their honor guard, and enjoyed helping with Honor Flight Northeast Indiana. Tim was a founding member of Fire and Iron, Station #150. He spent much of his free time volunteering and helping others.
Surviving family include his wife; Tracy; children, Kevin and Kyle White, Rene and Jenna Jennings; his parents, Alton and Carole; step-mother, Patricia White; and brothers, Gregory and Matthew White.
Funeral service was 11:00 am on Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Lifewater Community Church, 5600 Westbreeze Trail, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior. Visitation also be from 2-4 and 6-8 pm on Friday, September 30, 2016 at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Rd., Fort Wayne.
Memorials may be made to Lifewater Community Church, Children’s Program or Honor Flight Northeast Indiana.
