ROSIE DOVE SIMON, 77
ROSIE DOVE SIMON, 77, of Fort Wayne, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at Hospice Home. She was born December 5, 1937 in Thomkinson, Kentucky to the late Lacy and Audie (Burgess) Davis. She worked as the secretary, treasurer, and bookkeeper for Simon Body Shop. She enjoyed gardening, trips to Florida, and summers at the Lake. She was a devoted wife and mother that loved spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed by all.
Surviving are her husband, Alex L. Simon of Ossian; children, Brenda (Bret) Jackson and Linda (Todd) Tsiguloff, both of Fort Wayne, and Gregory Simon of Hamilton, Indiana; granddaughters, Rachel, Rebecca, Brittni, Alexandra, Sophia, Rosie, and Emma; great grandchildren, Julianna, Tyler, Zoe, and Landon; sisters, Barbara Lichtsinn of Fort Wayne, Sallie (Arlin) McAfee of Ossian, and Dianne Harding of Fort Wayne; and brother, Herbert (Shirley) Davis.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Davis.
Funeral service was Monday, August 3, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home for Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809 with visitation 1-hour prior. Visitation was also on Sunday, August 2, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home. Burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery.
