GLEN EDWARD GREAF, 89
GLEN EDWARD GREAF, 89, of Fort Wayne, passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015, at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born December 14, 1925, in Portland, Indiana, he was a son of the late Forest and Maggie (Baldauf) Greaf. He retired after 33 years from Sears and Roebuck Company and then established the Greaf Insurance Agency in which he operated for eight years. He was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church since 1954, a Boy Scout leader of Troop #346, and was a member of American Legion #296, Holy Name Society and Kiwanis.
Glen enjoyed many activities in life, but spending time and enjoying his family, especially his grandchildren, was his favorite.
Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Betty Greaf of Fort Wayne; children, Jane Ann (Steve) Burns, Gregory (Jan) Greaf, Douglas (Cindy) Greaf, and Dennis (Scott Tarr) Greaf, all of Fort Wayne; brothers, George (Maxine) Greaf of Dayton, Ohio and Clarence (Carol) Greaf of Knoxville, Tennessee; sister, Kathleen Medsker of Greenfield, IN; grandchildren, Amber, Jenni, Jacob, Amanda, and Sara; and nine great-grandchildren.
He was also preceded in death by a sister, Mary Lou Bosworth.
Mass of Christian Burial was 11am Saturday, March 21, 2015, at St. Therese Catholic Church, 2304 Lower Huntington Road, Fort Wayne (IN 46819), with a rosary service beginning at 10:30am and visitation beginning at 10am. Visitation also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 20, 2015, at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne (IN 46809).
