JAMES MICHAEL RYAN, 77
JAMES MICHAEL RYAN, 77, passed away Thursday, April 24, 2014, at his residence. Born in Fort Wayne, Mike graduated from Central Catholic High School and worked as a Photo Lithographer with Precision Litho Plate for 44 years, retiring in 2003. He was a U.S. Army veteran.
Mike was a devoted husband, father, and a loyal companion to his dogs Pepe, Thunder, Panda and Riley.
He was an avid golfer at Foster Park and enjoyed other outdoor activities like yard work and working on his 1965 Thunderbird. Other hobbies included supporting Indiana and Michigan sports teams and listening to all genres of music.
His love of family and sense of humor will truly be missed.
Surviving are his son, Shawn (Nancy) Ryan of Clarkston, Michigan; son, Patrick Michael Dolan Ryan of Fort Wayne.
James was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon Ryan; parents, William D.and Glynnis (Bohnke) Ryan and brother, Tom Ryan.
Funeral Service was 10am, Tuesday, April 29, 2014, at D.O. McComb and Sons Foster Park Funeral Home, 6301 Fairfield Avenue with calling one hour prior. Calling also at funeral home Monday, April 28, 2014 5pm-8pm.
Burial in Prairie Grove Cemetery.
