NEW LOCATION FOR 6TH ANNUAL KINGSTON’S TASTE OF WAYNEDALE

Taste Of Waynedale 2014Kingston Residence will proudly sponsor the 6th Annual “Kingston’s Taste of Waynedale” on Tuesday, March 18th from 4:30 -7:00 p.m. at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church, 1819 Reservation Road. The proceeds from this event will go to Community Harvest Food Bank and Fort Wayne Trails ~Waynedale Initiative.

We love to entertain in our beautiful Assisted Living Community, stated Marketing Director Camille Garrison. “But due to the wonderful response to this event, we recognized that we simply needed a larger venue to allow for growth.”

Tickets are $15 each if paid in advance, $20 the day of the event. Please RSVP to 747-1523, cgarrison@kingstonhealthcare, or stop by between 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at Kingston, 7515 Winchester Road, Monday through Friday to pick up your tickets.

To date, 22 local restaurants and businesses have committed to participating and will offer samples of a variety of food or drink. Additional vendors are still coming in. Area restaurants who currently plan to participate include Belmont Beverage, Big Boy, Bandido’s, Captain Ron’s Corral, China Palace, Culver’s, GFS Marketplace, Hall’s Original Drive In, Hill’s Market, Honey Baked Ham, Kingston Residence, The Landmark Centre, Mike’s Donuts, Nine Mile Restaurant, Penguin Point, Pizza Hut, Spyro’s, The Stand, Subway, Waynedale Bakery, Waynedale Café and Wings Etc.

Additional businesses that are providing support to Kingston’s Taste of Waynedale include The Waynedale News and JW Signs. Tickets can also be purchased at Hair Affair or Curves, both on Bluffton Road. There will be more than 60 Silent Auction items to bid on that have been donated by local businesses.

“Over $38,000 has been donated to local charities through this event. With a new, larger venue, we are excited about the possibilities to add to this total” stated Garrison.

Kingston Residence Assisted Living Community has been serving the community since 1990. It offers engaged and fulfilling retirement living with compassionate nursing support.
