MICHAEL W. SPRINKLE
MICHAEL W. SPRINKLE, of Fort Wayne, went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, February 4, 2014, 4:50 a.m., at his residence, surrounded by family. Born June 5, 1940, in Henderson, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Glenn Sprinkle and Melba (Werner) Sprinkle. He was a factory worker at Dana Corporation for 40 years. He was a member of Faith Lutheran Church, The Olive Club and Southwest Conservation Club. He loved spending time with his family and friends at Jones Lake.
Surviving are his two daughters, Starr (Billy) Hitzfield of Fort Wayne and Paula Renee (Steve) Witte of Ossian; two sons, Rick Sprinkle of Fort Wayne and Michael (Kim) Sprinkle of Ossian; 12 grandchildren, Taylor, Audrey, Brandon, Clint, Zackery, Rickie, Gabrielle, Elise, Jacob, Jessica, Mikie and Kristen; 8 great-grandchildren; brother, David (Jan) Sprinkle of Swayzee, Indiana; sister, Nancy (Jim) Herber of Fort Wayne; and special friends at the Olive Club and the Southwest Conservation Club.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Lyndal (Thomas) Sprinkle; and daughters, Twyla and Stacey Sprinkle.
Funeral service was 10 a.m. Friday, February 7, 2014, at Klaehn, Fahl & Melton Funeral Home, Winchester Road Chapel, 6424 Winchester Road, with visitation from 9:30 to 10 a.m. Pastor Marty Hampton officiating. Visitation also from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 6, 2014, at the funeral home. Burial in Lindenwood Cemetery.
