HAPPY NEW YEAR WAYNEDALE! 2014

This coming year, we are excited and proud to bring you the latest original local news and entertainment from the South/ Southwest Fort Wayne community. We would like to extend our gratitude to you, as one of our 35,000 faithful readers who receive The Waynedale News at home or pick it up at one of the distribution racks at local businesses. We appreciate all of your contributions in the form of ideas, news submissions and monetary donations. We would also like to thank the many businesses who advertise and sponsor our publication, and we encourage all of our readers to help us by using our coupons and mentioning our ads when the visit or call one of our advertisers.

As our new year’s resolution we are committed to continuing our efforts of assisting Waynedale improve the quality of life for residents, visitors and businesses. Our organization and staff members strive to volunteer their time and resources to help create and continue the great community events we are proud to have in our area of town. We are also active members of the Waynedale Lions Club, Southside Optimists Club, Acres Land Trust, Waynedale Business Chamber (coming soon), South/ Southwest Neighborhood Associations, Southwest Conservation Club, Real Men Read and more. Our publication is designed and carefully hand crafted to show all of the great and positive things that happen in our area of town. This type of positive branding assists and benefits in keeping negative stigmas away from our community’s image and helps people get an accurate portrayal of our great Waynedale.

By our example, we would like to encourage you to make a resolution for Waynedale this year. Whether that means committing to join a local group like the Waynedale Lions Club or attending more association meetings in your neighborhood. Together we can work toward the things we feel need improving and together we can create and celebrate the great things we already appreciate about our community. Even small efforts by many people will add up to become awesome positive activity, and it will show!
