11TH ANNUAL WAYNEDALE COMMUNITY PICNIC IN THE PARK

The Waynedale community is proud to announce this year’s “Picnic in the Park.”

Friends and families in the Waynedale area are invited to come and enjoy a great fun-filled day in the park on Saturday, August 24th.

Experience a “free” day of fun with food, games and music.

The community picnic will begin with a 10am sign-in for door prizes and games for children as well as adults. The children can join in games, face painting or balloon animals. A moon walk and craft area for the kids along with bingo for adults will be a part of the festivities. Come to enjoy many activities, with games and prizes for younger children too. All the activities and entertainment are free.

The Picnic in the Park committee is looking for help and sponsors. By donating a gift certificate, gift or a monetary donation the picnic is assured of being a success. Over 1600 people from the community of Waynedale are expected to participate. Please help us by becoming a sponsor for this “old fashioned” picnic.

With support from the area businesses, police, fire and other safety organizations it is educational and fun. Fraternal Order of Police will be giving out children’s bicycle helmets. Companies and local vendors will be sponsoring booths and/or tables to introduce their business. No soliciting. All of this is possible only if you can help be donating and volunteering. PLEASE donate any monetary amount you can and make checks out to: WAYNEDALE COMMUNITY PICNIC.

VOLUNTEERS are the number one thing that supports this “day in the park.” We are always happy to see new faces. If you have a group that could help for a day please call or email us.
