EVELYN FAYE PARKISON FULTZ
EVELYN FAYE PARKISON FULTZ, passed away on June 6, 2013 at Parkview Hospital of Huntington at the age of 98.
She was preceded in death by Otto, her husband of 55 years in 2004 and her son, Jack Fultz of St. Louis, Missouri.
Although a native and long-time resident of Fort Wayne, she had resided at The Heritage of Huntington in more recent years.
She is survived by a son Tim of Angola, IN and a daughter Betsy (Steve) Simmons of Fort Wayne; her sister Marily Roehm of Winter Haven, Florida; seven grandchildren, Jim (Chris) Fultz and Greg (Chris) Fultz both of St. Louis, MO, Robb (Kim) Fultz of Huntington, Dr. Jennifer (Brian) Redmon of Humbolt, Arizona, Molly (Rob) Dornseif of Fort Wayne, Andrew (Ellen) Simmons of Fort Wayne, and Libby Simmons of Indianapolis; nine great grandchildren; two great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews; all of whom will miss her.
She enjoyed summers at her lake home with family and friends and was active in the Methodist churches in Fort Wayne and Auburndale, Florida. She and Otto were founding members of Aldersgate United Methodist Church. She enjoyed bridge, Scrabble and golf. Among her participation in many philanthropic organizations she was especially proud of her involvement with the Christmas Bureau. She and Otto wintered over forty years in Winter Haven, Florida.
Services were 11:00 a.m., Monday, June 10, 2013 at Covington Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.
