DARREL C. KISSINGER, 66
DARREL C. KISSINGER, 66, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2013. Born in Fort Wayne, Darrel was a 1965 graduate of Central High School and worked at General Electric for 25 years, retiring in 2004. He was a member of American Legion Post 241, GE Quarter Century Club, NE Indiana Baseball Assoc. and former member of Toastmasters and Three Rivers Strollers.
Darrel was a Vietnam Army Veteran that enjoyed attending Native American Pow Wow’s and playing the Native American Flute.
Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Janis Kissinger of Fort Wayne, son, Robert (Sandy) Kissinger of Roanoke, daughter, Julie Kissinger of Fort Wayne, and grandchildren, Kari and Jasper.
Service was 10 a.m. Saturday, April 20th at D.O. McComb & Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home, 8325 Covington Road. Calling was 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, April 19th at the funeral home. Burial in Covington Memorial Gardens.
