MARY ETTA SNYDER, 91
MARY ETTA SNYDER, 91, went to be with her Lord on Thursday, February 14, 2013 at St. Joseph Hospital. She was born August 6, 1921 in Greenup, Illinois to late George Louis and Oral Effie (Kemper) Henderson.
She worked at General Electric where she met her husband, the late Virgil Hiawatha Snyder. She was a long-time resident of Waynedale and a member of the Waynedale United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her children, Donald Lee (Sherry) Snyder of Cuero, Texas, Janet Lou (Michael) Novosad of Centerville, Ohio, and Terry William (Betty) Snyder of Arlington, Texas; step son Virgil Eugene (Eleanor) Snyder of Denver, Colorado; nine grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service was on Friday, February 22, 2013 at 1:30 P.M. at Lutheran Life Villages Chapel, 6701 South Anthony Blvd., Fort Wayne, IN 46816 with visitation 1-hour prior. Visitation also on Thursday, February 21, 2013 from 5 to 8 PM. at Elzey-Patterson-Rodak Home For Funerals, 6810 Old Trail Road, Fort Wayne, IN 46809. Entombment at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
